17 and no paypal? hmm... I should be able to use paypal if you are able to have a bank account. I don't know how does it work in your country but I think it's legal. So if you want to have I think there is a option. Thank you so much! I really appreciate that you like it ♥
While I don't imagine you seriously expect anyone to care about your opinion of their intellect, it'd sure be funny to find out that you pay for/consume cigarettes, alcohol, or candy. No need to get worked up....I just enjoy screwing with judgemental jackasses.
zrobię na pewno ^^ Nie spłacę nim niestety nic, ale nie będę sprzedawać czegoś co mi się podoba i w co włożyłam dużo czasu za marne grosze. Jeśli znajdzie sę ktoś kto doceni i czas i poświęcenie jakie wkładam w każdy rysunek to oboje będziemy szczęśliwi ^^ Dużo kontrowersji się tu teraz narobiło XD
*Insert generic comment about how overly expensive this is and how I am secretly envious about how you are more popular than me and I am 12 years old with no job and need to ask my parents for money and have no concept of how much original art actually costs or how to get money in the real world, here*
Seriously though, your art is incredible and you deserve every penny you get. I love the vivid colors, and the line art is so bold and expressive. Did you use black Letraset markers do the line art? Or did you use micron pens? Best of luck to you with the auction! And even more luck to you with dealing with naive little kids complaining on your art. >.>
Everyone have different tastes and thoughts about how much art should be worth. I'm working hard on my artworks even if it's simple paper child. So really... I don't mind if someone who don't like me or something will comment hateful comments or will gossip. Life is what it is. I think at the beginning prices should be small and little by little they should grow. It's a good strategy to keep your commissioners happy without wasting your time by sitting for hours at the computer (which is harmful for your health)or with papers and pencils. Work is FUN but it's still a WORK ^^ And you work for others so as you want to buy good shoes you can pay 10 bucks or 100 bucks. But those people who are making shoes for 10 buck are poor workers who probably don't like their work. Those who are making the other ones probably will work with joy that their work is worthwhile ^^
And about the markers. Nope. I didn't drew the lines with the black one. I think that using black marker is harmful for the whole look of the drawing. It's way better to use dark grays for coloring. For lines I prefer using micro pens ^^ Markers are unpredictable sometimes XD
Agreed. It is extremely childish for people to come to YOUR page and proceed to complain how you are over charging for your hard work. It is uncalled for, and just plain rude. If they understood the work you put into your art, they wouldn't be saying things like that. But regardless, your work is great, and I wish you only the best. Hopefully you will get some good money for this work, as you deserve it.
I kind of figured the line art wasn't markers, since they could easily blend and start to blur when applying all the marker colors. I was just curious. They are so bold, I love how they look.
The funniest thing is that nobody would tell me such things right in my face. No one would stand next to me and tell: "Hi, I think your work is not worth 20 bucks, btw I'm Lucy" or something XD Commenting is a really nice way to tell someone rude things and go away happy.
I would never tell that someones work is not worth the price, because i don't know how much work do they spend on them ^^ But I'm not angry or something. Life is what it is, and I would not change it. The one and last person I can change is me myself ^^
First off, I assume by "critisms" you mean "critiques". And what you are doing is not critiquing. In order to critique artwork, you offer insight, opinions, and tips on the actual artwork. All you are doing is crying like a baby because you clearly like something, but can't get your parents to pay for it for you, and don't have the money yourself.
This is an art website. It is a place for people to post artwork, and others to appreciate it. If you can't handle doing that, then this isn't the site for you. There are adults here, who work hard on their art, and have bills to pay. Show a little respect for those who are doing what they love, and trying to make a little money doing it. And in the process, you will earn a little respect for yourself along the way.
"all you are doing is crying like a baby because you clearly like something but can't get your parents to pay for it for you and don't have the money yourself"
seriously? i have a full time job and i'm an adult. :/ not everyone who critiques and criticizes is a fucking tween with money problems.
"there are adults here who work hard on their art and have bills to pay" yeah and i'm one of those people. some people are harsh when they critique others, others let it down gently. it's all a matter of who the person is.
simply generalizing that people who are saying it's pricey are jealous because they want it for themselves, is in turn, just as "immature" as those like us downing her for the price.
